To assist Geopura in their ambitious growth journey, Jackson Hogg placed one of our talent partners on-site on a scalable basis from two to five days per week. Through the first 12 months of their Talent Partnership, Geopura hired 25 people – 92% of whom were sourced either directly or by Jackson Hogg.

THE PROBLEM

Geopura’s growth was starting to accelerate in 2022, but that came with its own problems

The organisation’s headcount plan was ambitious, and required an expanded recruitment capability to deliver it, but with varying recruitment volumes throughout the year, they needed a flexible solution. Geopura considered hiring an in-house recruiter, but the niche roles they were looking to fill, combined with the variability of their recruitment requirements and limited employer brand within the market meant that this solution wasn’t viable. They also considered expanding their use of recruitment agencies, but the unpredictable costs involved in this were difficult to align with their plans.

OUR SOLUTION

To assist Geopura in their ambitious growth journey, Jackson Hogg proposed our flagship Talent Partnership service.

By placing one of our talent partners on-site, on a scalable basis from two to five days per week, we were able to optimise their recruitment process from start to finish and help them achieve their headcount plan. Our process started with an in-depth audit of their recruitment process, from job specification writing and job board usage analysis to interview technique and offer management. From there we took detailed briefs of the roles on offer and got to work sourcing candidates directly through our talent partner, with assistance from our wider, specialist recruitment team, and created a preferred supplierlist for the specialist roles we didn’t have the expertise to fill ourselves.

OUTCOME

Through 12 months of Talent Partnership, Geopura hired 25 people, 92% of whom were sourced either directly or by Jackson Hogg.

Our talent partner assisted in creating an apprenticeship scheme to foster new talent, and by optimising the recruitment process and controlling all activities centrally, time to offer was reduced by 22%. This all allowed Geopura to achieve their headcount plans, continue their growth journey and focus on their innovative technologies rather than recruitment. Due to the success of their first 12 months, Geopura extended their contract by a further 12 months.
