Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial due diligence support for ongoing and upcoming M&A activities.
- Assist in financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accurate integration of financial data and reporting during acquisitions and mergers.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities within potential acquisitions.
- Work closely with finance and operational teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Develop and implement best practices for post-merger integration.
- Support financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations related to M&A transactions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a project accounting role, ideally within an M&A environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Extensive experience in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience in financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
- Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
