Are you a natural leader with a passion for coaching, performance, and closing deals? We’re looking for a Sales Manager to lead from the front – driving team performance, nurturing key accounts, and delivering measurable results in a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a key part of the commercial leadership team, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a high-performing sales function, ensuring short-term targets are consistently met while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and operational excellence.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role with autonomy, impact, and room to grow – working closely with a forward-thinking Sales & Marketing Director and an engaged, motivated team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the sales team with a hands-on approach – coaching, supporting, and motivating daily
- Managing the sales pipeline and ensuring all opportunities are progressing effectively
- Holding the team accountable to KPIs and individual performance goals
- Conducting regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and driving team incentives
- Acting as the go-to for product knowledge, pricing, and issue resolution
- Overseeing team coverage, holiday planning, and sickness management
- Running focused weekly sales meetings to drive momentum and share best practice
- Proactively developing your own customer portfolio and contributing to new business growth
- Team consistently hitting or exceeding sales and KPI targets
- Healthy, visible pipeline activity aligned with business growth goals
- Strong customer relationships and repeat business across the board
- Low team turnover and a culture of energy, support, and accountability
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a successful sales team
- A collaborative, motivational leadership style – with high standards and a commercial mindset
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A strong personal sales track record and a desire to lead by example
- Comfortable using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- £50,000 – £60,000 basic salary
- £20k OTE, based on achievable sales growth
- Company car or £5,000 car allowance
