As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and support strategic decision-making.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the company’s financial management, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in reporting and analysis. You will be the number two to the Managing Director, providing strategic guidance and direction to help shape the future of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner to the MD, contributing to business planning and growth strategies
- Oversee the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Manage cash flow, financial planning, and international financial operations
- Provide financial insights to senior leadership to drive decision-making
- Lead and develop the finance function, including managing one direct report handling transactional finance
- Oversee and optimise processes within Sage 50 to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving initiatives where necessary
About You
- Qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in a similar role within an SME
- Proven experience in management accounting, financial planning, and cash flow management
- Familiarity with Sage 50 and the ability to optimise its use within the business
- Commercially minded with the ability to provide strategic financial insights
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
