Our client, a leader in advanced water management technologies, is seeking a skilled Product Specialist with a strong foundation in electronics and hands-on engineering. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving in the field, supporting innovative products, and engaging directly with customers and cross-functional teams. You’ll be working at the intersection of technical support, field service, and product development—helping shape the future of water conservation technologies that rely on cutting-edge communication systems like LoRa and RF.
About the Role
As a Product Specialist, you will serve as the technical point of contact for internal teams and customers alike. You’ll conduct field diagnostics, perform equipment measurements, assist with product demonstrations, and provide support throughout the full customer lifecycle. The role requires a proactive mindset, technical accuracy, and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing product and technical support to customers and internal teams
- Perform field visits to assess equipment performance, take measurements, and troubleshoot issues
- Support sales by delivering product insights during client meetings and technical demonstrations
- Track and manage product inventory, including inbound and outbound shipments
- Stay informed on evolving wireless technologies (RF, LoRa, cellular) and integrate knowledge into product improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Associate degree in engineering (or similar field) and ideally 2 years of industry experience
- Alternatively, 4+ years of relevant work or military technical experience in lieu of a degree
Required Skills
- Background in radio frequency systems, with working knowledge of LoRa and cellular communication technologies
- Familiarity with electronics, field diagnostics, and hands-on measurement techniques
- Excellent communication and customer engagement abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Proficient in tools and software commonly used in electronics or engineering roles
- Eagerness to learn and stay up to date with industry trends
