Temporary Credit Controller

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team on a temporary basis. The role will involve managing overdue accounts, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring accurate financial records. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with credit control experience to step into a busy finance team, with potential for extension or a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with the Sales Ledger department regarding overdue invoices

Maintain positive customer relationships while proactively chasing overdue payments

Conduct regular statement reconciliations and follow up with customers as needed

Set up and manage direct debit arrangements
-
Use Sage 50 for all credit control activities and reporting

Ensure all credit control processes comply with company policies and procedures
Requirements:

Proven experience working in credit control
-
Strong communication and negotiation skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in Sage 50 is essential

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
