Clean energy without limits

The organisation’s headcount plan was ambitious, and required an expanded recruitment capability to deliver it, but with varying recruitment volumes throughout the year, they needed a flexible solution. Geopura considered hiring an in-house recruiter, but the niche roles they were looking to fill, combined with the variability of their recruitment requirements and limited employer brand within the market meant that this solution wasn’t viable. They also considered expanding their use of recruitment agencies, but the unpredictable costs involved in this were difficult to align with their plans.

Geopura’s growth was starting to accelerate in 2022, but that came with its own problems

By placing one of our talent partners on-site, on a scalable basis from two to five days per week, we were able to optimise their recruitment process from start to finish and help them achieve their headcount plan. Our process started with an in-depth audit of their recruitment process, from job specification writing and job board usage analysis to interview technique and offer management. From there we took detailed briefs of the roles on offer and got to work sourcing candidates directly through our talent partner, with assistance from our wider, specialist recruitment team, and created a preferred supplierlist for the specialist roles we didn’t have the expertise to fill ourselves.

To assist Geopura in their ambitious growth journey, Jackson Hogg proposed our flagship Talent Partnership service.

Our talent partner assisted in creating an apprenticeship scheme to foster new talent, and by optimising the recruitment process and controlling all activities centrally, time to offer was reduced by 22%. This all allowed Geopurato achieve their headcount plans, continue their growth journey and focus on their innovative technologies rather than recruitment. Due to the success of their first 12 months, Geoupura extended their contract by a further 12 months.

Jackson Hogg are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operator to join a growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced assembly operative with strong hand tool experience to secure a long-term position with excellent benefits and a clear route to permanent employment.

Following an initial induction on dayshift, successful candidates will move straight onto a 2-shift rotation, earning £15.25 per hour.

Working within a busy production environment, you will be responsible for assembling components to a high standard while following engineering drawings, standard operating procedures and quality requirements.

		<li>Avdel guns
		<li>Screwdrivers

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be partnering with this exciting manufacturing plant as they look to grow their HR team! This is a brand new role and a real chance to make the role your own. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to take the next step in their HR career. This role offers a mix of hands-on HR support and more strategic project work. You’ll work closely with managers and teams across the business, giving practical advice, helping solve problems, and getting involved in the projects that shape how they work. You will work in a stand alone HR capacity but with the full support of the wider team across other sites.

The successful candidate will operate a tanker vehicle to empty, clean and maintain units while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring all environmental, health and safety regulations are followed.

<h2>The Role</h2>

As a Toilet Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing of portable toilets and welfare facilities at customer locations, ensuring units remain clean, operational and compliant throughout the hire period.

<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>

<ul>
	<li>Operate a tanker vehicle to empty and service portable toilets and welfare units
	<li>Carry out routine cleaning, sanitising and replenishment of consumables
	<li>Ensure waste is collected, transported and disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations
	<li>Complete daily service routes efficiently and professionally
	<li>Conduct vehicle and equipment checks before and after use
	<li>Maintain accurate records of servicing activities and customer visits
	<li>Report any damaged units, equipment defects or customer issues
	<li>Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures
	<li>Deliver outstanding customer service when attending customer sites
	<li>Keep vehicles, pumps and equipment clean and in good working order
</ul>

<h2>Candidate Requirements</h2>

<h3>Essential</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Class C or C1 Driving Licence
	<li>Valid Driver CPC qualification
	<li>Digital Tachograph Card
	<li>Minimum 2 years' professional driving experience
	<li>Strong customer service skills
	<li>Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads
	<li>Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
</ul>

<h3>Desirable</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Previous tanker driving experience
	<li>Experience within portable sanitation, waste management, utilities or similar industries
	<li>Good geographical knowledge of the local area
</ul>
