Electrical Maintenance Technician 
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and plant machinery within the facility. The role will also include basic mechanical maintenance where appropriate. We’re working exclusively with one of the UK’s largest privately-owned manufacturing groups, known for their innovation, sustainability, and down-to-earth values. As they continue their ambitious growth journey, they’re now looking for an experienced Group Health and Safety Manager to lead H&S strategy and ensure compliance across their UK operations. 
 
This is a hands-on, field-based role where you'll travel between sites, engaging teams and senior leaders alike to drive a proactive, positive safety culture.

What you’ll be doing:

	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 36.0pt;">Conduct audits, inspections and thorough risk assessments
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 36.0pt;">Investigate incidents and lead root cause analysis
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 36.0pt;">Deliver engaging training that fosters buy-in and long-term behavioural change
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 0.0cm 36.0pt;">Provide expert guidance to site leaders and teams
	<li style="margin: 0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt 36.0pt;">Monitor and improve health & safety performance through KPIs and data

What we’re looking for:

	<li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin: 0.0cm;">Experience across multi-site industrial, manufacturing or logistics environments

Control System Engineer 
North East, UK 
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE 
 
Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working with a leading offshore subsea engineering business which delivers offshore equipment to clients worldwide. It is a very exciting time to join this progressive team, as they are expanding their offices and looking to bring an experienced Controls Engineer that will work on their fast-paced, leading projects.  
 
Control System Engineer Key Responsibilities
<ul>
	<li>Design control system circuits and documentation.
	<li>Develop PLC, HMI/SCADA systems and software.
	<li>Configure and commission inverter drives.
	<li>Checks and approves electrical schematics and calculations.
	<li>Review designs against DNV and/or other standards.
	<li>Contribute to sales proposals.
	<li>Liaise with suppliers.
</ul>
Control System Engineer Key Requirements

<ul>
	<li>Experience in designing and commissioning safety automation and control systems for marine and/or hazardous environments.
	<li>Experience in PLC programming.
	<li>On-site commissioning and fault-finding experience.
	<li>Siemens TIA Portal experience.
	<li>Experience with DNV certification (optional).
	<li>Experience with SIL (optional).
</ul>
This is a permanent, full time on site role with occassional travel abroad and offshore, depending on the project. Competitive package with excellent benefits is provided on offer.

Clean energy without limits

The organisation’s headcount plan was ambitious, and required an expanded recruitment capability to deliver it, but with varying recruitment volumes throughout the year, they needed a flexible solution. Geopura considered hiring an in-house recruiter, but the niche roles they were looking to fill, combined with the variability of their recruitment requirements and limited employer brand within the market meant that this solution wasn’t viable. They also considered expanding their use of recruitment agencies, but the unpredictable costs involved in this were difficult to align with their plans.

Geopura’s growth was starting to accelerate in 2022, but that came with its own problems

By placing one of our talent partners on-site, on a scalable basis from two to five days per week, we were able to optimise their recruitment process from start to finish and help them achieve their headcount plan. Our process started with an in-depth audit of their recruitment process, from job specification writing and job board usage analysis to interview technique and offer management. From there we took detailed briefs of the roles on offer and got to work sourcing candidates directly through our talent partner, with assistance from our wider, specialist recruitment team, and created a preferred supplierlist for the specialist roles we didn’t have the expertise to fill ourselves.

To assist Geopura in their ambitious growth journey, Jackson Hogg proposed our flagship Talent Partnership service.

Our talent partner assisted in creating an apprenticeship scheme to foster new talent, and by optimising the recruitment process and controlling all activities centrally, time to offer was reduced by 22%. This all allowed Geopurato achieve their headcount plans, continue their growth journey and focus on their innovative technologies rather than recruitment. Due to the success of their first 12 months, Geoupura extended their contract by a further 12 months.
