About the Role
We’re looking for a commercially minded Project Manager / Key Account Manager to lead high-value engineering and manufacturing projects (typically £5m+) while managing key client relationships. This is a dual-facing role, combining project delivery with strategic account management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to client expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and trust

Lead projects end-to-end, overseeing delivery, budget, risk, and quality

Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, sales, and finance

Drive commercial performance, ensuring margins and internal KPIs are met

Proactively manage challenges and maintain client confidence under pressure

Identify opportunities for account growth and long-term partnership success
Candidate Profile

Proven experience as a Project Manager or Key Account Manager in engineering or manufacturing

Comfortable managing high-value, complex projects (£5m+)

Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills

Background in regulated or safety-critical sectors (marine, nuclear, etc.) is advantageous

Excellent communication, planning, and commercial awareness
